VOID International Animation Film Festival
The festival had a strong reputation in the industry — it drew filmmakers and animators who knew and respected it. But the ambition was bigger than that: to become a place for anyone who loves animated film, cartoons, AR and VR. A place for stories told through animation that are diverse, experimental, compelling and that actually matter – and to Cultivate Wonder.
Building upon the existing logo we designed a colourful visual identity with a fluid, shifting gradient at the centre, that feels infinite, a little cosmic, and deliberately hard to pin down.
As a key asset we deconstructed the VOID letters into “the bird” – a floating 3D element used on top of images to invite curiosity beyond the festival.
